Teens for Food Justice is honored to announce its selection as the beneficiary charity of celebrated designer Reed Krakoff ‘s fall shopping benefit event, which was held the week of November 4th. From Tuesday through Saturday, Reed Krakoff generously donated 20% of all sales on behalf of Teens for Food Justice to the charity, raising over $16,000 to boost teen-led food justice outreach and advocacy in at-risk NYC communities.
Reed Krakoff’s Madison Avenue boutique buzzed with activity on the night of November 4th, as Teens for Food Justice board, volunteers, staff, and supporters joined together for an evening of shopping, music and conversation. The fabulous turnout and show of support by all who attended combined to make the event the most successful evening of charity shopping in Reed Krakoff’s history.
A huge thank you to the entire Reed Krakoff team, Teens for Food Justice advisor Marcy Warren and TFFJ Board Chair Tara Smith for making this event possible and to our board, volunteers and partners at New Beginnings Charter School for your support!
